Treating Neuroma Pain over the last 20 years of
podiatric medical practice.
Prior to recommending progressive theta treatment programs to all of my neuorma patients, treatment was overall very unsuccessful. Cortisone and alcohol injections, medications, traditional orthotics and surgical excision resulted in permanent resolution of symptoms less than 40 percent of the time. Treatment options had less than a 50/50 chance of really helping the patient.
Before the use of theta treatment programs, at least half of my personal neuroma patients went on to surgery; this result, even with my strong emphasis on conservative treatment options.
