Dear Dr. Jarrett,
Dr. Jarrett June 25, 2000 "Thanks for your recheck inquiry. Just so you'll know, I'm a family doc here in GA. Your orthotics have brought relief to me after years of aching and pain in my right foot and leg. I'm thankful to have found you on the net. My problem began in 1988 when I had a bulging disc causing transient problems with dorsi-flexion and proprioception losses in my right lower extremity esp. at the ankle. I struggled with daily pain in my ankle, gastroc, and hamstrings on the right. PT made an orthotic for me that was some type of high impact plastic and the discomfort decreased, I wore it out after 2 years and didn't use one for an extended time. Now my aches have been back for 2 years with me trying all sorts of products to no avail. PT had changed suppliers and could not get the same orthotics (the curse of managed care) and none of the products they ordered helped. That's when I searched the net and found you. Brent, these inserts have been a Godsend. I'm already doing what you suggested , wearing the 25's in my everyday shoes and the 30 's in my golf and walking shoes, I don't intend to be without them ever again." Dr. Ralph Warnock
Hi Dr. Jarrett, March 17, 2000 Wellington New Zealand "I am really pleased with the inserts, It depends on the shoes I'm wearing which that I use, but mainly the 25's. The arch pain has all but gone away other than when I put my shoes on for the first few minutes. I have been going to the golf driving range and hitting around 100 balls with next to no pain at all, which before was really painful. I'm just about ready to try golf again. Like you say on your web site, you really don't want to wear your shoes without the Orthotics in place. In my case, if I do, it only takes a short time for the pain to return. Thanks for your help. It's great being almost totally pain free." Garry Gill
Dear Dr. Jarrett: Now that I have graduated over the past six months to successively higher levels of arch elevation through the Theta Orthotics system, I can attest that Theta Orthotics are different from anything I have previously tried and that they have truly furnished me with the help that I needed. The improvement is evident from the fact that my arches no longer ache if I walk as much as three miles, at night my calves no longer "beg" for hand massage, and I no longer experience ! heel pain stemming from plantar fasciitis. In fact, when I walk long distances now or carry heavy loads up and down steps, any arch and knee fatigue that I may experience is only temporary and does not carry into the next day as it formerly did. I have discovered that it is also a big help to wear my somewhat less elevated, older Theta Orthotics in my slippers at home, when I wish to be more relaxed but still feel the need for support. For those who are interested, I came to Theta Orthotics after wearing three successive pairs of Footlevelers orthotics over the preceding twelve years. While Footlevelers were a definite improvement over the rigid type of orthotics that I had been wearing the previous few years, they failed to provide me with the kind of arch support that I really needed, with the result that I had recurrent plantar fasciitis as I aged and my arches weakened further. Moreover, my foot expanded from size 13 to size 14 from the lack of support, necessitating the purchase of new shoes and the abandonment of old, a costly experience. Each time that I ordered a new pair of Footlevelers orthotics, the heel, but not the arch, was built up more. A higher heel was not what I needed! Dr. Jarrett, Jan 21, 2005 It has been 4 years since I began my treatment with a 25 degree theta-orthotics. I am one who read the information at your site then doctored up my best pair of orthotics to get maximum theta before I tried yours. Immediately I could feel the improved correction with your 25 degree orthotics. When I increased to 30 degrees after a few months it was hard to believe I had found with a www.google.com search. I always wear my theta’s and have gradually increased up to 35 degrees over the years. The reason that I am writing today is to inform you that after 4 years of full time treatment with theta-orthotics I now know how unique and effective your invention is. I dreamed my house caught fire the other night and in my dream I had time to gather but two possessions. I saved my cat and my Theta’s. Thank you for your inspired research with Theta, and for your virtual presence in my life. Kristine Potter Mystic, CT
Hello Dr. Jarrett June 22 2000 Mishawaka, Indiana "I'm writing you in response to your query regarding the orthotics which I received from you. I'm not sure as to the model type but all I can say is that they've made a big difference in my life. No more "Dr Schole' Walk-Straight Pads." I have much fewer incidents of ankle discomfort now and was able to take up jogging again, which in turn helped me to drop 20 lb's. Naturally, the weight loss helped bring relief to my stressed feet as well. So-thanks for a job well done, I'm in better shape because of the orthotics which I received from you , I do a lot of walking on my job as well, so I get a lot of use out of them. Thanks again
Hello Dr. Jarrett, I am extremely pleased with my inserts and notice a tremendous difference! My neck, shoulders, back, hips and knees all felt like they were "perfectly balanced" like never before. My muscles are more relaxed in my entire body, hence, my flexibility increased instantly. Remember that I told you I have fought slouching my whole life... immediately I did not slouch anymore. I am starting with the 25 degrees. When is it best to move to the 30 and the 35 degrees? Now that I have seen what your orthotics can do for me I know that my wife (Debbie) would benefit even more than I have.... Thanks again for your time, attention and "Praise God" for your tremendous blessed ability, developing these orthotics, and for Him opening the door for me through your web site. David Carson 03/01/04 Swanton , OH Dear Dr. Jarrett, June 6 2000 New York, New York "About my impression of the different orthotics I have used in the past, I definitely need to wear orthotics of some kind. The Alzner-Step Forward orthotics that I was wearing before receiving the PCO's were better than the Prescription orthotics given to me by my foot doctor, but the 25 degree PCO's which I wore for about 2 months were significantly better than either of them. At some point I tried the 30 degree PCO's and determined that they were even better so I now wear them all the time. The calluses and metatarsal pain that I had previously has significantly improved. I now believe that I'm ready to try the 35 degree PCO's and would like to place an order for them today. I look forward to receiving the 35 degree PCO's." Peg Bunke
Hello Dr. Jarrett, after trying 3 different types of orthotics, multiple cortisone injections, physical therapy, and medications, I was skeptical that anyone could help with the pain that I used to get from my heel spur. I am glad that I called and talked to you, and more importantly I am glad I followed your recommendations. I got 25 and 30 degree orthotics and am now wearing the 30's and virtually pain free at least during the activities that I normally do. I was thinking of doing a little running again. It has been over a year since I had to quit, and was wondering about either more correction at 35 degrees or perhaps the new full-length athletic orthotics you spoke to me about. Please get back with your recommendation. Thanks in advance. Lance Noble 02/28/2004 Wilton, CT. Doc. It's your favorite patient Charles Hartsog. I wanted to let you know that I am doing great with much less back pain. I started with the 30's and now wear mostly the 40's. I can 't imagine going without them. I am ordering an extra set of the 40's so I don't have to move them from shoe to shoe.. It was lucky that I found you, as no specialist here in California could give me the amount of correction that I knew I needed. Awesome product, you should come and demonstrate it at our State Fair. Charles Hartsog, 03/21/2004 San Jose, CA Hey Doc. I have been wearing your orthotics now for about 4 years. I bought them on the Internet and am very pleased with the entire process. My heel and arch pain is totally gone and now I can tell how much better I walk and stand. I never go without them. I am very glad that I found you. Peter Gray 02/10/04 Chelsea, MI Dear Dr. Jarrett. Thank goodness that I found you on the Internet, because none of the medication or injections were helping with my wife's neuroma. Thanks to your orthotics she is walking more than ever with little to no pain. It has been 3 months since she canceled her surgery and we have you to thank for that. Dear Doctor Jarrett, I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your answering all of my questions and taking the time to help me feel comfortable. I almost never feel my Neuroma any more now that I wear the 25 degree orthotic all the time. Those injections I used to get were very painful and did nothing for very long. Thanks Lya Watkins, 03/08/2004 Bensalem, PA.. Dr. Jarrett, Today I am wearing your Theta-Orthotics for the first time. You're right they did feel uncomfortable at first, but I can tell you that the moment I stood up with out even walking in them yet , I could feel the tremendous pressure off of my knee. Thank you so much for giving me what I have so needed. Susan Kinder LMT 03/20/04 Destin, FL. Across the little western village she sauntered... her shoulders fell most easily into their proper place...a task that had once taken more conscious attention... The saunter was not without a bit of a twist, however, as an animal had crawled into her black suede boots... and made his bed under her fine arch. Then it occurred to her, I can feel my neuroma pain disappearing, your invention will work for me. This makes me very happy. Andrea Record, 03/18/2004 Duncans Mills, CA Dear Dr. Jarrett, Feb. 13, 2000 Sedona, Arizona "Your work in orthotic research has truly given me a new lease on life. I am now pain free for the first time in over 18 years and I could not live life in the manner that I do without the orthotics that you have designed , giving me the support that I need to overcome the injuries that I sustained in the early months of 1982. Thank you for your creative work in the field of posture control." Sincerely, Dr. Robert Archer
Dear Dr. Jarrett, August 06,2000 London, England "I received the orthotics on Saturday morning. I am wearing them now and I already know that they are what I've been looking for. I was very apprehensive considering many previous failures with arch supports, and the fact that this was my first Internet purchase of any kind. I am already becoming confident that they will stop the pains in my knees and allow me to stand up straight. I will keep you informed of my progress until I am used to the 40 degree orthotics. Thanks for a smooth transaction, and thank for offering an alternative to the painful insoles I've been given before." James Lewis
Dear Dr. Jarrett. Thank goodness that I found you on the Internet, because none of the medication or injections were helping with my wife's neuroma. thanks to your orthotics she is walking more than ever with little to no pain. It has been 3 months since she canceled her surgery and we have you to thank for that . James Walker 03/05/2004 Conroe, TX Hello Dr. Jarrett, Scott (my husband) and myself have your orthotics from 1 year (or so?) ago. I love them and wear them all the time. I am curious if you have found the full length orthotics better, or better under certain conditions/situations than the 3/4 length? I wear mine all the time, and I have noticed that when the foot cannot move in the shoe- that it is best. Have you made many changes or found the full lengths better?? Just curious on how your latest developments or adjustments might be .. . Thanks for your time!! (And your great orthotics). Lori Casas
Dr. Jarret, I am ready to order my next pair of orthotics. I am a little confused by your web site order form so I am just sending you this e-mail. I would like to get a pair of the next degree up which for me would be a 30% pair, I have been wearing my 25% pair for about 2 1/2 months now. Thomas Lockman
Dr. Jarrett: Thanks for sending the 15 degree correction. They allowed my blisters to heal while giving some correction. Ran a half marathon last week with the orthotics (20 degree). Only minimal neuroma type discomfort during the race. This in itself is a great improvement. No pyriformis discomfort post race! I often get that after long runs on pavement. On top of these positives, I trained with a group preparing for the Arizona Ironman the week following my half marathon. We calculated something like 275 miles on the bike, 65 on the run , and five swimming for the week. This is by far and away the most mileage I've ever done. I was sore, of course, but no soft tissue or deep knee pain. Having had bilateral ACL reconstruction, this is a major positive. I use the orthotics religiously on the bike. Anyway, thought you would appreciate the feedback. I'm still not comfortable with the 25 degrees but will try them in my training as I go along. Cyndie Fox.
Dr. Jarrett, Thought I would give you a quick update on my progress. I wore the 25's golfing and walked all 18 with no problems. The next day my arches were pretty sore so I wore my old orthotics. After that I quickly moved to the 30's which have been pretty comfortable. In all I think I wore the 25's 3 days before moving up. The 30's will be pretty easy to get used to as well and I will walk the golf course Saturday and Sunday with them and see how it goes. My body is definitely adjusting. Bones in my low back and ankles are moving around. I have been stretching quite a bit so I am sure this is helping. Time will tell how they work out but so far so good. Thanks, Eric
Dr. Jarrett isn't a quitter. And he's serious about helping others. After the initial impressions were taken and inserts were sent, Dr. Jarrett received a call from me letting him know that I just could not wear the inserts. Dr. Jarrett took the time to find the problem and make adjustments to his original approach. Shortly after trying this new approach he received another call from me letting him know that this was not working either. One more time, Dr. Jarrett patiently heard the problem, and offered yet another approach. I was so pleased to call him again, this time with a new hope. This new approach hasn't given me new feet, but I am very grateful for the insert designed by Dr. Jarrett. They have reduced the pain of walking considerably, and therefore increased the amount of time I can walk pain free each day. Thanks to the Lord for giving Dr. Jarrett this gift, and thanks to Dr. Jarrett for using it! Mary DiPace

I received the Theta-Orthotics a week ago and I've been wearing them since. There's definite improvement, the pain in the ball of my foot is less (sometimes more sometimes less). When should I switch to the 30 degree orthotics? Is there a set time from the beginning of treatment? I understand the higher degree of correction level the more chances for significant improvement.. Another question, do you know if any medical insurance covers Theta Orthotics? I am currently covered under Oxford Freedom Select. Thank you again, looking forward to hearing from you. Feel free with any questions here on email. Best regards, Roman Bensman
Roman, Glad to hear that you are seeing noticeable improvement with your 25’s. You can try the 30's any time you want. If it is a bit too much when you do you can either wait a little while or you can start wearing the 30's every morning until it becomes too uncomfortable then switch back to the 25's. Every day try to go longer before you switch back. Soon you won't want to switch back. Keep up the good work and let me know how you do. Dr. Jarrett Hello Doctor Jarrett: how are you ? Now it's a little more than month since I wore orthodics. I'm very happy despite some pain that> still exists and I think it stays on the same level for some time. I'm wondering if you would recommend me to try higher degree of correction level ? It looks like I could have started from the 30 initially. Dr Jarrett, please advise.. May it will trigger some> improvement. Explain to me please what's the procedure as well if you think I should uprade the level. I feel very comfortable with the 30. As I understood the 40 is the highest recommended ? Optimal ? Thank you very much, Roman Bensman
Roman, Good to hear you are progressing and doing well at 30 degrees. If there is still unresolved pain then certainly at some point you would want to consider more correction. If I fail with my internet patients it is usually because I start them with too much correction. This treatment is like exercise and must be constant, gradual and progressive. If you wanted to go up in correction, all you need to do is place a "subsequent order" either directly on the internet or by calling 1-800-55-THETA. The cost is 99.00 and we keep all of the fitting information so no additional impression is required. I realize your desire to get all of the help you can with perhaps minimal expense, but I would still recommend increasing correction at 5 degree increments. Sincerely, Dr. Jarrett Dr. Jarrett, I am still having the same pain but, I am able to wear my tennis shoes at work all morning without having to take them off now. I think I am ready for the next level which is 35%, I believe. All my information is the same except my address. I moved in Oct. I don't know if you have the new address or not. West Newton, PA . Will be waiting to hear from you. Thanks Pat Blevins
