Theta-Orthotics benefit Posture
When the concept of Theta and finally Theta-Orthotics was first submitted to the patent office, the name Postural Control Orthotics was chosen. Even though this treatment is capable of resolving foot, knee, and back pain, the most significant benefit was related to the change in posture. Theta is our name now because it describes what makes our orthotics unique and far more effective than all others, but good posture is still the most significant benefit.
Theta Correction Improves Posture and Associated Health ConditionsDuring aging our posture first begins to strengthen. Unfortunately before we reach maturity we begin a path that leads to poor posture and health. Many internet sites will describe hundreds of health conditions associated with poor posture. Theta research has taught us that the way we walk and stand is far more important than most believe. High Theta corrections over a life time can significantly change Postural outcome. Aaron has worn 40 degrees of theta from age 11 to age 30. Originally his symptoms were foot, ankle and knee pains with severely hammered toes all digits both feet. All symptoms have resolved with Theta Treatment, now his posture is as perfect as it gets.. With the exception of Aaron these postural changes represent the natural aging process. Ninety percent of our patients begin Theta to treat their pain. In a relatively short time they become aware that the very change in foot function responsible for resolving their pain, also produced an extremely beneficial force that restores posture. It becomes apparent in most patients that the postural changes are the most important part of the entire treatment. Theta geometry provides a time tested, effective way to treat medical conditions of the foot, knee, and back. Poor foot function/posture all caused by biomechanical pathology responds well to theta treatment programs using 10-40 degrees or theta correction with thousands of patients over a 23 year period.
